We look forward to working with each and every student, and welcome you to our studio.

The artistic faculty of Braemar Dance Center places children, teens, and adults in classes appropriate to each individual's level of ability and strength.  Class placement is determined by the age of the student and the number of years in training the student has acquired.  Students with experience are requested to try several classes before being placed.  Students are continuously monitored and moved into higher levels as the student's progress permits.

Director Tricia Deering is proud to feature "The B.D.C. Tap Project" for the more competitive, serious dancer who loves to perform!  The B.D.C. Tap Project offers opportunities for the more experienced students to be involved in Conventions, Shows and Competitions!

Attendance
Regular attendance is important to the progress of the entire class.  Classmates should not be expected to help students who miss frequently to catch up with the rest of the class.

Missed ClassesThere will be no credit or refunds given for unused or forfeited classes.  Make up classes will be offered in the event of power failure and/or inclement weather ONLY.  Our classes are usually full and constant make ups entering classes disrupt the progress of the class.

Inclement WeatherWe DO NOT follow Prince William County Public School schedule for classes not held due to ice and snow conditions!  Please call the studio for a recorded message regarding closings due to inclement weather 703-257-5000.

ANY CLASS(ES) MISSED FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER MUST BE MADE UP DURING THE SAME SESSION!

IMPORTANT EVERY STUDENT REGISTERED BY THE SESSION WILL HAVE A FILE LOCATED IN THE STUDIO LOBBY.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR FILE ON A WEEKLY BASIS FOR UPDATES AND TUITION REMINDERS!

YOUR SPACE IN CLASS WILL BE HELD FOR YOU UNTIL WE RECEIVE A TWO (2) WEEK WRITTEN NOTIFICATION THAT YOU NO LONGER NEED YOUR SPACE.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE SESSION THAT YOU REGISTERED FOR.  PLEASE CONTACT THE STUDIO IMMEDIATELY SO THAT WE CAN NOTIFY A STUDENT ON THE WAITING LIST.

ATTENTION PARENTSIt is the parental responsibility for the coming and going of your children to the instructor before and after each class session.  To insure his/her safety and welfare please instruct your child to never leave the lobby!  Children must remain in the lobby while waiting for their ride home.  Please remember we are here to teach, NOT TO BABY SIT.  Dancers are not to be left waiting at the studio for more than 10 minutes prior to or following a class.  Again this is for the safety of your child.  The Gainesville Dance Center and any instructors will not be responsible for unattended children before or after their scheduled class time(s).  ROAMING AROUND IN THE SHOPPING CENTER IS NOT ALLOWED.

Students must wear street clothes and/or cover ups over their dance attire when going to and from the studio.  Girls will not be allowed to walk around outside of studio, or to go and from their car/carpool in dance attire!  This is for the personal safety of your child.  Do not wear dance shoes outside the studio! Also, during winter months, dress warmly, it helps muscles warm up more efficiently.

Carry all dance shoes in your Braemar Dance Center dance bag and or back pack.  Please have all items labeled with the students initials.  DO NOT BRING VALUABLES with you.  We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.  All dancers should take their dance bags into the room with them.

ALL CLASSES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR CANCELLATION IF FEWER THAN 5 STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED.

PRIVATE LESSONS:  $65.00 PER HOUR.  Contact the office to schedule instructor and time(s).
